Schedule: | Championship, Reserve & Booster (4 rounds): Check in by: 9:30am; First Round time: 9:45am. Primary, K-1 Rated and Novice Sections (4 rounds): Check in by: 9:45am; First Round time: 10:00am. For rated sections, approximate end-time is 5:00 pm; Novice sections typically end around 3:00; sections may end sooner and awards are presented as quickly as possible after the completion of all rounds in any given section. |

Notes/Terms: | By registering online, you will not need to check in at the registration desk. Upon your arrival, verify that you are on the posted pre-tournament pairing list. Please bring a copy of your confirmation email in the event there is an error. **USCF-rated, except where noted. Bring clocks and score pads. COVID-19 Protocols – No on-site registration. Advance registration only. All players must wear masks in the playing area. All school COVID protocols will be observed. PRIZES: AWARDS CEREMONIES begin as soon as possible, after each section completes. Trophies to top 5 (minimum score of 2) plus all players scoring 3 points or more in each section. K-1 and K-1 Novice: Participation ribbons to all players. Teams: Trophies to top 3 school teams in each section (minimum 2 players for a team; top 4 scores counted per team). For tournament postponement and delay notices, check nscfchess.org. Changes: If you need to change sections, or for any other assistance, email Tournaments@NSCFchess.org. Refunds/Cancellation Policy: If you cannot play in this event, you may withdraw by email no later than 8 am on April 23. Refunds must be requested by email. No withdrawals or refund requests by telephone. There are no refunds for No-Shows. Refunds are subject to a $10 fee which covers administrative and credit card processing charges. Supervision & Photo Release Policy: All participants under 16 must have an adult supervisor during the tournament. The NSCF does not provide supervision between games. Also note: Photography and/or video recording occurs at most NSCF tournament events. By registering your child for this event, you hereby give permission for your child's name and/or picture to appear on the NSCF website/promotion. If for any reason this is not acceptable, please advise tournament staff PRIOR to the start of the tournament.
