Learn chess with Diplomat Chess! Our coaches have taught thousands of children to play, including state and national champions, but most of our students are just looking to learn a new skill and have fun. Class time is divided between interactive group lessons and practice games. Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies and analysis of famous Grandmaster games. All chess equipment is provided by Diplomat Chess. All skill levels are welcome.Rutgers Prep Chess Club will be led by Diplomat Chess Coach and International Chess Master, Farai Mandizha. Coach Farai is a renowned scholastic coach and professional chess player. He's taught at many of the top programs in New York City and New Jersey, and both his teams and individual students have won national championships. Coach Farai is currently rated 2486, and is on the cusp of becoming one of top 100 highest rated players in the country.Registration closes on 11/4 at 9:00pm. |
