DESCRIPTION: The NSCF is pleased to present an online version of our small group classes focused specifically on improving student's games in tournaments. Coach Ricardo's Intermediate I Group Lessons are especially for students who have competed Advanced Beginner or active tournament players rated up to 799 USCF. During this series of 7 classes, the instructor will inspire students to develop their passion for chess.

Students will improve their tactical recognition and learn strategic concepts. Topics include middle game checkmating patterns, improving visualization skills, and understanding the transition from middle game to endgame.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a series of classes. We will not accept students for a single class or on a pro-rata basis. Any questions, please contact Fabiola by email or by calling the office: (914) 683-5322.
