INSTRUCTOR:  FM Ramon Lorente

DESCRIPTION: The NSCF is pleased to present an online version of our small group classes focused specifically on improving student's games in tournaments. Ramon's Intermediate II class is for students with more tournament experience and requires a USCF rating from 800 up to 1199, or completion of the NSCF’s Intermediate I classes. Students will learn how to study and prepare on their own, how to manage their time during tournament play, and how to properly analyze their games afterwards. Students will also learn to consider multiple options, increase the accuracy of their calculations, and how to convert material and positional advantages into wins.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a series of classes. We will not accept students for a single class or on a pro-rata basis. Any questions, please contact Fabiola by email or by calling the office: (914) 683-5322.

If you do not already know Coach Ramon, read his bio on our NSCF Instructors page.
