| Notes/Terms: | An instructional chess program offered for an
eight-week session will feature a premier area instructor. The program is
for players of all ages, beginners welcome. The program will include age and
skill appropriate group lessons on strategy, including chess basics, supervised
practice play and other instructional and fun chess activities. Program will
meet once per week on Thursdays, 6:00-7:00 PM. This is a FREE program, provided as part of the Connecticut State Chess Association’s “A Place to Play” Initiative for the Connecticut chess community. The program is co-sponsored by the CSCA, the East Hartford Public Library and the US Chess Trust. NOTICE RE: PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDINGS: By registering for the program, the student, parent and/or guardian understand(s) that photos, videos and like recordings may be made by the organizers of the program and its participants/attendees, to promote and publicize the program and the sponsors; and the student, parent and/or guardian grants the organizers the right to make such recordings and relinquishes any and all rights therein and thereto.
