| Notes/Terms: | An instructional chess program offered for an eight week fall session, featuring 2022 Connecticut Women’s Champion and University of New Haven graduate student Dharani Sree Ravi as instructor. The program is for players of all ages, beginners welcome. The program will include age and skill appropriate group lessons on strategy, including chess basics, supervised practice play and other instructional and fun chess activities. Program will meet once per week on Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30 PM. (There is NO class February 18.) This is a FREE program, provided as part of the Connecticut State Chess Association’s “A Place to Play” Initiative for the Connecticut chess community.
The program is co-sponsored by the CSCA, the West Haven Library and the US Chess Trust. Any questions can be directed to the CSCA Programs Coordinator at chess.CSCA@gmail.com.
