Kindergarten through 10th grade.  Rated 1400 and under.  Maximum 40 participants.

Kindergarten through 4th grade.  Maximum 22 participants.

Schedule: Unrated sections hours: 9:00 am till 1:00 pm
Rated section hours: 9:00 am till 2:00 pm
All sections: Check in by: 8:30am; First Round time: 9:00am.
Time Control: Game/25, 5 second delay in rated section. Please bring clocks. None supplied.
Clocks are not required in unrated sections.

PRIZES: Trophies to top 6 scorers in each section; participation ribbons to all players. Additional trophies in rated section: Top Kindergarten, top 1st Grade, top 2nd Grade, top 3rd Grade. AWARDS CEREMONY begins after each section completes.

No on-site registration for this event. COVID-19 safety protocols are in effect.

USChess membership is not required for unrated sections; put UNR into the box where it asks for rating. Current USChess membership is required for rated section; you can purchase a membership or renew at a discounted price through our website.

Byes: Please note, there are No Byes for this event.

Day of event: Check in at registration upon arrival. Please bring a copy of your confirmation email.

Refunds/Cancellation Policy: If your child cannot play you may withdraw by emailing nscfoffice@nscfchess.org by 12 noon on Friday, June 25. NO SHOWS without prior notification forfeit the entry fee. Refunds will be subject to a $10 administrative fee and will be processed within 7 days after the end of the tournament. To request a refund, email nscfoffice@nscfchess.org.

Supervision & Photo Release Policy: All participants under 16 must have an adult supervisor during the tournament. The NSCF does not provide supervision between games. Photography and/or video recording occurs at most NSCF tournament events. By registering your child for this event, you hereby give permission for your child's name and/or picture to appear on the NSCF and or Rye Reads website/promotion. If for any reason this is not acceptable, please advise tournament staff PRIOR to the start of the tournament.
